Electronic Dance Music Master Classes (EDMMC) is the premier conference for electronic dance music, with discussions on both the audio and visual side of performances. This year, Koen De Puysseleir, the exclusive lighting designer for world renowned DJ Tiesto, will discuss how he creates the visual shows to match the power and energy of Tiesto's music.
According to Live Design, De Puysseleir has specialized in stage and touring designs for venues of all sizes for several years, working exclusively for Tiesto for the last eight. Previously, he worked on projects for companies such as Chanel, Hugo Boss, PukkelPop and Rock Werchter.
EDMMC is held during the LDI trade show, on November 19 and 20, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. It will feature a series on lighting design and projection, as well as audio design for EDM. "The lighting and video/projection component will focus equally on the aesthetic and technical components of each discipline."
Another master class held this year will be the Concert Lighting & Projection series, which focuses on lighting design and projection for other genres of music, from pop to metal, with dates to be announced.
