Put Love in the Spotlight with Valentine’s Day Gobo Lighting

Everyone expects the traditional card and flowers, but how about doing something unexpected this Valentine’s Day? One of our customers, Sean*, did just that and proposed to the love of his life with gobos.

Sean booked a hotel with his sweetheart, Rachel*, and on Valentine’s Day asked the hotel staff if he could project his proposal onto the brick wall just outside their hotel window. That night after a romantic dinner the couple returned to their room and Sean told Rachel to look out the window. Eyebrows raised in curiosity, Rachel pulled back the curtains and there on the building across the street were the words, “Rachel, will you marry me?” illuminated against the red brick backdrop. She of course said yes, and the happy couple are married to this day.

Make it a day to remember

This Valentine’s Day, make your loved one feel truly special and say it in lights. It doesn’t have to be a marriage proposal, you could simply project the words ‘I love you’ on the lawn below your partner’s bedroom window or put ‘Rachel & Sean forever’ in lights on your dining room wall.
