Here are a few things that you should determine so that we can help you more effectively:
- Details of the setting where you will be using your gobo: This includes basic info, such as the distance you'll need the gobo to project, the desired size of the projection and, if applicable, the angle it will be pointing.
- The color and material of the projection surface: The surface color is especially important if you plan projecting color artwork.
- You'll also want to let us know about the ambient lighting situation: Will you be using the gobo in a dark room or will it be well-lit? If you'll be using it in a mobile setting, this will also be helpful to know.
- Icon or logo design: We'll need to work with you on creating a design that will function as a gobo projection. This may mean making alterations to your original idea. Typically, we'll have you send the design as a vector file, such as an Illustrator .AI., .PDF, or .EPS file, which allows us to easily modify and scale it to the right dimensions digitally.
